Arab League condemns Israeli aggression against Jenin

The Arab League condemned on Tuesday the Israeli aggression against the West Bank city of Jenin, which resulted in the martyrdom of a number of Palestinians and the injury of others.

Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit said that global actions, including the International Criminal Court’s decision to indict occupation leaders for war crimes and crimes against humanity, have not yet deterred Israeli criminality or stopped the seven-month-long massacre in Gaza.

Jamal Roshdy, Spokesperson for the Secretary-General, emphasized that the Israeli occupation’s aggression against Jenin and other cities and towns in the West Bank reveals in a blatant manner the Israeli occupation’s plans that have nothing to do with October 7, and that the goal is to consolidate the occupation, annex lands and expel Palestinians from their homes through a practice that can only be described as ethnic cleansing.
