Manama: The Arab Juniors Under-16 (U16) Tennis Championships, hosted by the Bahrain Tennis Federation (BTF) from December 18-22, has concluded in the Kingdom of Bahrain. According to Bahrain News Agency, Jordan's Amir Jaber emerged victorious in the singles category with a straight-sets victory over Egypt's Hassan Shoaib, finishing 6-3, 6-4 in the final. Meanwhile, Bahrain's own Ahmed Al Sayed and Tunisia's Laith Ben Achour shared the third-place honors. The event concluded with an awards ceremony where the winners were crowned by Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, the President of the BTF, accompanied by officials from both the Arab and Bahrain tennis federations. Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Mubarak commended the finalists and emphasized that hosting the championship reflects Bahrain's dedication to supporting and developing tennis across the Arab world. In the doubles competition, the Egyptian duo of Youssef Mourid and Hassan Shoaib claimed the title after defeating the Tunisian pair of Ali Ben Mahmoud an d Laith Ben Achour with scores of 7-5, 2-6, 10-2.
