Riyadh: The Arab Golf Federation has announced the launch of the 'elite sport scholarship camp,' a strategic initiative aimed at developing future Arab golf champions. This program seeks to empower emerging Arab golfers and guide them to achieve the highest levels of international competition by 2035.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the camp will be held over four days at the Riyadh Golf Club, featuring 16 male and female players from the Arab world. These athletes have been selected based on their performances in regional and international tournaments, as well as their current rankings.
President of the Arab Golf Federation Yasir Al Rumayyan emphasized the commitment to building a robust and sustainable infrastructure for golf in the Arab world. He highlighted the collaboration with leading international partners to provide the highest standards of training and professionalism to the most promising young players.
