Bahrain’s Ambassador to Belgium Abdulla bin Faisal bin Jabur Aldoseri, met with the Head of Visa Polic y at the General Authority for Migration and Home Affairs of the European Commission, Mr Dimitri Giotakos at the Commission’s headquarters in Brussels.
During the meeting, the Ambassador affirmed Bahrain’s keenness to enhance cooperation with the European Union in various political, economic and security fields.
He noted the Kingdom’s distinguished record in the areas of protection and promotion of human rights, sustainable development, pioneering contributions in the fight against money laundering and combating terrorism, and an effective partnership with the international community in promoting regional and international security, stability and peace.
Aldoseri also discussed the stages and technical procedures used to exempt Bahraini citizens from pre-visa requirements when visiting the European Union (Schengen), in addition to regional and international issues of common interest.
