Alba Achieves RoSPA’s ‘President’s Award’ for Safety Excellence for Third Year

Manama: Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), renowned as the largest aluminium smelter on a single site globally, has further solidified its status as an industry leader in safety by securing the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA)'s 'President's Award' for the third consecutive year.

According to Bahrain News Agency, this notable achievement comes on the heels of Alba's 12th consecutive RoSPA Gold Award, underscoring the company's unwavering commitment to maintaining exemplary occupational safety and health standards.

Ali Al Baqali, Alba's Chief Executive Officer, emphasized the centrality of safety to the company's operations, stating, "At Alba, safety is not just a priority or a practice; it's the bedrock upon which all our operations and processes are built. Receiving this distinguished award for the third consecutive year proves that we are on the right track in our safety journey and fuels our determination to advance with even greater dedication, ensuring the safety and well-being of our most valuable assets - our people, encompassing both our employees and contractors' workers."
