Manama: At the Bahrain International Airshow 2024, Airbus held a training workshop for students to build their technical skills with hands-on experience using advanced equipment. Students practised aircraft maintenance through realistic simulations, part of a series of workshops during the airshow.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Ahmed Al Kooheji, Manager of Aircraft Engineering Training at BAS, highlighted the workshops’ role in preparing the next generation of aircraft maintenance specialists, giving students practical interaction with modern equipment. Over three days, more than 90 students will participate, with 33 students from two schools attending on the first day to engage in training activities.
Al Kooheji noted that these workshops aim to equip students with technical skills, fostering future aviation leaders through a stimulating learning environment aligned with Bahrain’s vision for civil aviation development.
