Chattogram: The port city has reported 10 more Covid-19 cases out of 180 tests conducted in the last 24 hours in the district. With these new cases, the total number of coronavirus cases in Chattogram has reached 38 over the past 11 days, according to Dr. Jahangir Alam, Civil Surgeon of Chattogram.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, coronavirus tests are currently being conducted in six different laboratories, including the RT-PCR lab at Chattogram Medical College Hospital. Currently, 33 infected patients are undergoing treatment at various designated hospitals in the city.
Dr. Jahangir Alam has urged people from all walks of life to avoid crowds and wear masks to prevent further spread of the virus.
