Manama: Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, received Dr. Tasneem Ghaleb Atatreh, the outgoing World Health Organisation (WHO) Representative in Bahrain. The meeting was an opportunity for the minister to acknowledge Dr. Atatreh's contributions to strengthening the collaboration between Bahrain and WHO, with a particular emphasis on initiatives aimed at enhancing youth public health and promoting health awareness.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Atatreh expressed her gratitude for the support and collaboration from the Ministry of Youth Affairs during her tenure. She highlighted the positive outcomes achieved in youth public health programs and initiatives as a result of the partnership between the ministry and WHO.
