Youth Minister Meets Al Noor Charity Leaders to Foster Youth Engagement

Manama: Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, held a meeting with Shaikha Lamya bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Al Noor Charity Welfare Society, and Shaikha Lulwa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Deputy Chairwoman of the society. The discussions centered on enhancing cooperation to support youth initiatives and promote voluntary and humanitarian work.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Minister Tawfiqi emphasized the significant role of civil society institutions in nurturing young talents and developing their abilities. She noted that partnerships with such institutions are crucial for enabling youth to contribute positively to various community and humanitarian efforts. This collaboration aims to instill values of giving and social responsibility among Bahraini youth, enhancing their active participation in community service.

The meeting explored strategies to strengthen joint efforts in supporting youth-driven projects, with an emphasis on involving young people in development and charitable endeavors. This involvement is seen as a means to develop their skills and reinforce their initiative-taking and social responsibility.

Shaikha Lamya bint Mohammed expressed her pride in collaborating with the Ministry of Youth Affairs. She highlighted that youth are the foundation of sustainable community work and emphasized the importance of providing supportive environments to cultivate youth capabilities. The society is committed to engaging youth in voluntary and humanitarian initiatives to foster a culture of giving and collaborative action.
