Manama: Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, received Hanadi Mohammed Al Ghanem, Chief Executive of the Young Traders Foundation, as part of the ministry's ongoing efforts to bolster partnerships that support entrepreneurship projects aimed at youth and young people.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Minister Tawfiqi highlighted the significant importance the ministry places on supporting entrepreneurial initiatives. She noted these initiatives serve as crucial platforms for unlocking and nurturing young people's creative potential. Such projects, she emphasized, present promising opportunities for establishing innovative businesses that are capable of growth and sustainability, thereby preparing a generation ready to enter the labor market with both competence and capability.
Minister Tawfiqi praised the Young Traders Foundation's qualitative role in launching practical initiatives that familiarize young people with the concepts of trade and entrepreneurship. These initiatives use interactive and engaging methods, contributing to skill refinement, capability development, and early-stage experience acquisition that enhances professional readiness for the future.
The meeting explored ways to strengthen cooperation in supporting youth projects and increasing their participation in ministry-organized events and programs. It also showcased the positive impacts from Young Traders Foundation's projects during the previous edition of Youth City 2030, and discussed the initiatives and activities planned for the upcoming phase.
Hanadi Mohammed Al Ghanem expressed gratitude to the minister for her steadfast support of projects for youth and young people.
