Manama: Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, met with Saeeda Al Jowder, Chairperson of the Bahrain Youth Hostels Association, to discuss the vital role of the association in the youth sector of Bahrain. The meeting highlighted the association's contribution to creating an environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and communication among Bahraini youth and their international peers.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Minister Tawfiqi praised the association's successful programmes, such as the Overseas Travel Programme, which have significantly enhanced the skills of Bahraini youth. These initiatives promote creative thinking, initiative, and cultural openness. The Minister emphasized the importance of the association's ongoing efforts to attract Bahraini youth through various programmes that align with the Ministry's vision to elevate the status of the Bahraini youth movement and display its progress and accomplishments.
The Minister was informed about the positive outcomes of the association's initiatives, including the Overseas Travel Programme, which enabled 197 Bahraini youths to travel to several countries. This programme is part of the association's mission to develop leadership and cultural skills among youth. Discussions also covered the association's plans for the current year, including key programmes and expected results.
Saeeda Al Jowder expressed gratitude to the Minister for her unwavering support, which has been instrumental in the success of the association's initiatives. She confirmed the association's commitment to expanding its youth programmes in alignment with the Ministry's goals, building upon previous achievements to further empower Bahraini youth.
