Manama: Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, recently met with a group of young advocates of healthy lifestyles as part of the Ministry's "Hadeeth" initiative, highlighting the importance of youth engagement in shaping national development.
According to Bahrain News Agency, during the meeting, the Minister emphasized that the views and suggestions of young people form a cornerstone of the Ministry's work, supporting Bahrain Economic Vision 2030, which prioritizes youth empowerment and sustainable growth. She pointed out that direct dialogue with youth allows the Ministry to exchange ideas, nurture creativity, and develop initiatives that reflect national priorities.
The discussions during the meeting focused on promoting healthy lifestyles, fostering innovation in health-related projects, and creating environments that encourage positive behavioral change. The participants expressed their gratitude to the Minister for providing a platform for open dialogue and underscored their commitment to adopting healthy and innovative lifestyles that reflect the ambition of Bahraini youth.
Launched to strengthen youth participation in policy-making, the Hadeeth initiative promotes dialogue and collaboration. Its first edition featured eight sessions, presenting 68 youth-led ideas, several of which have already been implemented or integrated into strategic youth development plans.
