Budapest: Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, met with officials working in youth affairs on the sidelines of her participation in Brain Bar 2026 in Budapest, Hungary. Minister Tawfiqi engaged in several discussions aimed at strengthening youth cooperation and sharing expertise on a global scale.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Minister Tawfiqi held a meeting with Dr. Sultan Al Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs of the United Arab Emirates. The focus of the discussion was on enhancing youth cooperation and facilitating the exchange of expertise between the two nations. Both ministers emphasized the importance of the Hope Network in fostering collaboration among institutions and young people throughout the Arab world.
In a separate meeting, Minister Tawfiqi met with Haitham Youssef Al Zahaf, Minister of Youth of the State of Libya. The discussion revolved around developing youth cooperation and enhancing communication between youth institutions. They also explored ways to expand Arab youth cooperation through the Hope Network, aiming to create more opportunities for young people.
Additionally, Minister Tawfiqi had a conversation with Tibor Bors Borb©ly-Pecze, Deputy State Secretary for Vocational Training, Adult Learning and Youth Policy Strategies and Regulation of Hungary. The discussions were centered on continued cooperation in youth-related fields, sharing expertise, and developing successful programs and initiatives for young people.
The Hungarian official praised Bahrain's achievements in empowering young people and highlighted the country's programs and opportunities that support youth participation across various domains.
Minister Tawfiqi further met with Mark Radnai, Government Commissioner Responsible for a Functioning and Humane Hungary. They discussed community participation, the role of technology and innovation in improving communication and engagement, and the exchange of expertise in areas of mutual interest.
