Manama: Rawan bint Najib Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, received Hassan Aqeel, Chairman of the Sadad Youth Empowerment Centre, and members of the Al Hosn initiative organising committee, on the occasion of the initiative's success and its positive impact, as one of the specialised programmes that contributed to developing the skills and capabilities of youth and enhancing their spirit of challenge and achievement.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Minister Tawfiqi affirmed that the achievements of youth centres in the Kingdom of Bahrain reflect the advanced awareness of Bahraini youth and their ability to design and implement specialised programmes that meet societal aspirations and contribute to the development of Bahraini youth. She commended the success of the Al Hosn Programme, which is considered a distinguished programme aimed at promoting national values and developing the intellectual and practical skills of young people.
The minister highlighted the importance of youth initiatives launched by youth centres, noting that the Al Hosn programme represents a successful model reflecting the Sadad Youth Empowerment Centre's commitment to offering distinguished and specialised programmes that attract Bahraini youth and align with their aspirations.
She congratulated the centre's management and organising committee, underscoring the ministry's support for such initiatives and its commitment to helping youth centres continue offering innovative programmes under the National Youth Empowerment Strategy.
For his part, Aqeel thanked the minister for her ongoing support and attention to youth initiatives, emphasising that this support was a major incentive to the success of the initiative and the achievement of its objectives. He noted that the centre will continue building on these accomplishments and launch specialised programmes that contribute to developing youth capacities and enhancing their positive role in society, in line with the ministry's vision and future directions.
The minister honoured the competition winner and the oldest participant, in addition to presenting certificates of appreciation to members of the Al Hosn programme organising committee, in recognition of their distinguished efforts and notable contributions to the programme's success and the achievement of its objectives.
