Manama: Youth leaders emphasized the significance of youth as essential partners in national development following a meeting with His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports. The meeting, which involved over 400 young men and women in celebration of Bahraini Youth Day, highlighted the vital role that youth play in safeguarding the nation and advancing its development.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the youth leaders acknowledged that the meeting and His Highness's address emphasized a national strategy that positions youth as active contributors to development. This approach is seen as reinforcing their role in supporting stability and national cohesion. The youth leaders appreciated the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in empowering youth and strengthening their participation across various sectors.
They further stated that the address by His Highness emphasized the role of young people as an active force in addressing challenges and contributing to national stability. The current phase, they noted, requires responsibility, unity, and practical engagement from the youth.
Additionally, the leaders highlighted that the messages from the meeting focused on enhancing national responsibility, promoting commitment in professional and volunteer work, and translating initiatives into coordinated efforts that support development and social cohesion.
