Manama: The Ministry of Youth Affairs, in cooperation with Euro Motors and Zayani Investments Group, announced Saud Abdulaziz Ahmed as the winner of the Ferrari 296 Challenge design contest themed around the Bahraini identity. The announcement was made during a ceremony held at the Ferrari showroom, attended by officials from the ministry and partner organisations.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Abdulkarim Al Meer, Director of Events and Programmes at the Ministry of Youth Affairs, said the initiative reflects the ministry’s commitment to empowering Bahraini youth and providing opportunities to showcase their creativity in innovative fields that represent the national identity in a contemporary way. He commended the partnership between the ministry and Zayani Investments Group, which created new opportunities to discover Bahraini talent in design and innovation.
Reem Zayed Al Zayani, Director of Corporate Communications and Sustainability at Zayani Investments Group, said the competition demonstrates the group’s dedication to supporting Bahraini youth and engaging them in meaningful projects that strengthen their presence in creative industries. She noted that the partnership with the Ministry of Youth Affairs added value to the initiative and helped highlight emerging talent.
Winner Saud Abdulaziz Ahmed expressed pride in the achievement, describing it as motivation for young Bahrainis to continue innovating and contributing to the Kingdom’s growing global presence in creative fields. He said his design was inspired by Bahrain’s cultural heritage and development vision, combining authenticity with modernity.
