Youth Affairs Minister Meets “Hadith” Initiative Participants

Manama: Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs and member of the Ministerial Follow-up Committee for the National Plan to Promote National Belonging and Reinforce the Values of Citizenship 'Bahrainouna', participates in the fifth session of the 'Hadith' (Talk) initiative, held under the theme 'Youth and the Consolidation of National Identity', with the participation of senior officials and young Bahrainis.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Minister affirmed that strengthening national identity and fostering a sense of belonging remain central to empowering youth and reinforcing social cohesion. She highlighted the continued support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which place young people at the forefront of national development efforts.

She also commended the support extended to the youth sector by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, noting its role in enabling youth to contribute actively to preserving Bahrain's heritage and values.

The session featured discussions on youth engagement in promoting national principles and representing Bahrain positively across various platforms. Participants expressed appreciation for the initiative, reaffirming their commitment to contributing to national progress.

The 'Hadith' initiative forms part of the Ministry's efforts to enhance youth participation in policy dialogue and programme development, and to foster a culture of constructive engagement and shared responsibility.
