Works Undersecretary Engages with Singapore Delegation to Bolster Infrastructure Expertise Exchange

Manama: Shaikh Mishal bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Works, received a delegation from the Republic of Singapore as part of efforts to strengthen cooperation and exchange expertise in the field of infrastructure, and to review Singapore's leading experience in road network development and the implementation of advanced engineering projects.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting discussed means of enhancing cooperation and knowledge exchange, along with global best practices in the planning and implementation of infrastructure projects. The Singaporean experience and its achievements in improving traffic efficiency and the quality of services were also reviewed.

The Singapore delegation was briefed on the North Isa Town Interchange Development Project, including its implementation stages and objectives in improving traffic flow and enhancing road safety, in line with urban development requirements and the needs of road users.

Both sides underscored the importance of such meetings in supporting knowledge exchange, benefiting from successful experiences, and contributing to the development of future projects and the achievement of sustainable development goals in the infrastructure sector.
