Works Ministry Undersecretary, Social Development Ministry Undersecretary Inspect Isa Town Social Services Complex

Isa town: Shaikh Mishaal bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Works, and Zeyad Adel Darwish, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Social Development, conducted an inspection visit to the Social Services Complex project in Isa Town to review the progress of the works. According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Mishaal bin Mohammed emphasized that the project is part of a series of development initiatives aimed at strengthening the social protection system for the Ministry of Social Development. This involves constructing modern facilities and services to meet the community's needs. He also expressed gratitude to the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development for its support in making the project possible. Shaikh Mishaal bin Mohammed Al Khalifa further noted that the project is a comprehensive social care complex serving various groups. It includes the construction of three main centres: the Academic and Vocational Rehabilitation Centre, the Parental Care Centre, and the Isa Town Social Centre . The project also features additional buildings such as a health club, a theatre, a café for users of the complex, security rooms, and all other associated services. Shaikh Mishaal bin Mohammed explained that the project is designed to provide high-quality social care and services. It focuses on the rehabilitation and education of people with disabilities, supporting their integration into society and the workforce. The Parental Care Centre within the complex will offer a wide range of services, including social, health, psychological, daily living, and recreational care, all within one location. He also noted that the project's design meets sustainability and green building standards, including energy-saving measures to protect the environment and natural resources. Accessibility has been carefully considered, with ramps at all entrances, lifts located near entry points for easy movement between floors, and sanitary facilities equipped to meet the needs of people with disabilities. On his part, Zeyad Dar wish emphasized that the Social Services Complex project in Isa Town is an important step in Bahrain's social care system. It reflects the government's commitment to continuing to provide integrated and comprehensive services to beneficiaries within a supportive environment equipped with the latest facilities. He added that the complex will enhance the efficiency of the programmes and services offered by the Ministry by providing several service and social centres under one roof. This will make it easier for beneficiaries to access services and improve the effectiveness of social and professional efforts directed at various groups, especially people with disabilities and the elderly.
