Muharraq: The Ministry of Works announced the commencement of development works for the car parks on Shaikh Abdullah Avenue in Muharraq, opposite Shaikh Isa bin Ali Historical Palace, as part of a comprehensive plan to upgrade the infrastructure and enhance the urban and service components of Muharraq.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the project aims to improve the urban environment surrounding the palace and neighbouring areas in line with the historical character of the district, while meeting the needs of residents and visitors. The project will also improve traffic flow and provide organised parking, contributing to more efficient public services and increasing the area's attractiveness.
The Ministry of Works highlights its commitment to full coordination with relevant authorities to ensure the project is completed on schedule, supporting the goals of Muharraq's integrated development plan and preserving its authentic architectural identity.
