Manama: The Ministry of Works, in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic at the Ministry of Interior, has announced the activation of 42 new parking meter devices in the Diplomatic Area to regulate parking use and improve traffic flow, helping to make parking spaces available to a larger number of users, with a total of 546 parking bays.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Ministry stated the new meters offer multiple payment options, including credit cards, Apple Pay, and cash, making it easier to pay parking fees and providing a more flexible user experience.
