Manama: Ibrahim bin Hassan Al Hawaj, Minister of Works, inspected the construction project of the Hussein Ali Yateem Health Centre in Salman City, as part of the ministry's follow-up on the implementation of projects serving primary healthcare centres across the Kingdom's governorates.
According to Bahrain News Agency, during the tour, the minister affirmed the ministry's commitment to continuing the project in accordance with the highest technical standards and in line with the requirements of primary healthcare infrastructure projects in supporting the services provided to citizens and providing integrated healthcare facilities that meet current and future needs of residential areas.
Minister Al Hawaj was briefed on the progress of the work, as well as the project's various components and facilities. He noted that the centre will include 14 doctors' clinics and 10 dental clinics, in addition to laboratory, radiology, and physiotherapy departments for men and women, maternal and child care clinics, a pharmacy, an emergency and nursing department, as well as designated parking spaces for patients and staff.
He highlighted that the Healthcare Centre reflects the ongoing partnership with the private sector and its supporting role in government efforts across various domains. He thanked the Hussein Ali Yateem family for their contribution to the project, reflecting the importance of community partnership.
The minister added that the new health centre will strengthen primary healthcare services by providing a range of preventive, diagnostic, and treatment services, facilitating residents' access to healthcare, and meeting the needs of the community.
