Manama: On the occasion of Bahraini Women's Day, celebrated under the theme "Bahraini Women: Distinction, Creativity, Innovation," Ibrahim bin Hasan Al Hawaj, Minister of Works, emphasised the significant and growing role of Bahraini women across sectors, particularly in infrastructure, where they actively contribute in engineering, technical, and administrative positions. According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Hawaj noted that women's achievements reflect the continuous support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, as well as initiatives led by the Supreme Council for Women, under the leadership of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of HM the King. Al Hawaj added that the theme highlights women's creativity and innovation, their regional and international recognition, and the state's appreciation for their contributions to national development. He underscore d that the Ministry of Works continues to promote equal opportunities and a supportive work environment, commending female employees for their efficiency, commitment, and role in advancing Bahrain's infrastructure and sustainable development.
