Manama: Vatel Bahrain College of Hospitality and Tourism Management has announced that it has been awarded the title of Leading Institution in Hospitality and Tourism Management in the Middle East for 2026, as part of the global Travel and Tourism Awards presented by the UK magazine LUXlife, in recognition of its success in delivering an exceptional educational model that combines advanced academic training with practical training in the hospitality and tourism sectors.

According to Bahrain News Agency, this 2026 award comes as an extension of Vatel Bahrain's record in the LUXlife Travel and Tourism Awards, following its 2024 wins for Best Institution in Hospitality and Tourism Management 2024 in Bahrain and Best Hospitality Management College 2024 in Bahrain, and then its 2025 recognition as Leading Institution in Hospitality and Tourism Management 2025 in the Middle East region. This further strengthens its growing regional presence and confirms the strength of its academic model, based on aligning specialised education with practical application and the needs of the hospitality and tourism sector.

This recognition also reflects the position Vatel Bahrain now holds as a specialised educational institution that has successfully established its presence in the Kingdom and the region, through offering academic programmes aligned with international standards and providing an integrated learning environment focused on preparing and qualifying students professionally in line with labour market requirements and developments in the hospitality and tourism sector.

Shaikh Khaled bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, General Director of Vatel Bahrain, said that this achievement represents an important milestone in the college's journey and reflects the advanced level it has reached in hospitality and tourism education in the region.

He added that this recognition reflects the success of Vatel Bahrain's approach in combining academic quality with practical application, by linking theoretical study with professional training through its partnerships with prominent hotel and hospitality institutions, contributing to refining students' skills and enhancing their professional readiness, while also supporting the position of the Kingdom of Bahrain as a promising regional destination in specialised hospitality and tourism education.

Shaikh Khaled bin Khalifa said that this international achievement serves as an incentive to continue developing academic and practical programmes and to provide quality education in line with Bahrain Vision 2030 and efforts to develop the tourism sector in the Kingdom, in a way that improves educational outcomes and strengthens the college's role in preparing young national talent and future leaders capable of contributing effectively to the development of the hospitality and tourism sector.

He affirmed Vatel Bahrain's continued commitment to its educational and professional mission, through strengthening its partnerships with major global hotel brands, in order to support the supply of qualified talent to the market that meets development ambitions and the needs of the sector.
