Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa held a meeting with US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, Barbara A. Leaf, who arrived in Bahrain to attend the 18th edition of the Manama Dialogue.
The Undersecretary stressed Bahrain’s keenness on bolstering joint cooperation and long-standing strategic partnership with the United States of America.
He underscored the importance of the Manama Dialogue, which represents a platform to exchange viewpoints with allied countries to strengthen regional security.
The US Assistant Secretary hailed joint cooperation, commending Bahrain’s initiatives to promote tolerance, peace and stability in the Middle East and the world.
