New york: Ambassador Khalid Yousif Al Jalahma, Undersecretary for Political Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, participated in the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) Ministerial Council meeting. The meeting was convened on the sidelines of the 80th UN General Assembly in New York.
According to Bahrain News Agency, foreign ministers of member states, along with Kairat Sarybay, CICA Secretary General, participated in the meeting. In his address, Al Jalahma emphasized Bahrain's commitment to fostering closer cooperation and dialogue among CICA members. He underscored the significance of the conference as a regional platform aimed at strengthening trust, promoting stability, and addressing common challenges across Asia.
Al Jalahma further articulated Bahrain's view of the conference as a pivotal force in fostering understanding and partnership between nations, contributing to shared progress and prosperity for the peoples of the region and the broader international community.
