Manama: Under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, the inauguration ceremony of the "Suqoor Hamad" facilities at the Royal Bahraini Air Force (RBAF) was held today. Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqer Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff, and Major-General Pilot Shaikh Hamad bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Commander of the RBAF, were present at the event, which coincided with the 58th anniversary of the establishment of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF).
According to Bahrain News Agency, Major-General Abdullah Rashid Al Tamimi, Director of Military Works, presented a briefing on the project. The Chief of Staff then toured the facilities, reviewing various sections and equipment. Lt. Gen. Al Nuaimi emphasized the structured and methodical approach of the BDF, under the patronage of His Majesty the King and the continuous follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister. He highlighted the directives of Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), in achieving advanced levels of development and modernisation, while enhancing its branches and units with modern administrative facilities.
