Manama: Noor bint Ali Alkhulaif, Minister of Sustainable Development and Chief Executive of the Bahrain Economic Development Board (Bahrain EDB), recently hosted Simon Martin, Charg© d'Affaires of the United Kingdom's Embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Noor bint Ali highlighted the robust relations between Bahrain and the UK, underscored by strong economic and investment connections. She pointed out the advancement in bilateral cooperation, facilitated by the UK-GCC Free Trade Agreement, which has fostered the creation of investment and partnership opportunities across multiple sectors.
The discussions also included the Kingdom's competitive business environment, strategic location, and flexible regulatory framework. Noor bint Ali emphasized the highly skilled workforce in Bahrain, which bolsters potential future cooperation and paves the way for new investment partnerships between Bahrain and the UK.
