Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, received a delegation from the United States Congress, including Senator Joni Ernst, member of the Senate, and Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, member of the House of Representatives.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting addressed the close relations and strategic cooperation between the UAE and the US, and the mutual commitment to enhancing their partnership to serve common interests and meet the aspirations of their peoples.
Both sides also discussed a number of issues related to regional security and joint efforts to promote stability and peace in the Middle East and across the world in support of the development and prosperity of its peoples.
