UAE President Discusses Regional Military Escalation with Greek Prime Minister

Abu dhabi: His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), received a phone call from His Excellency Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic, to discuss the ongoing military escalation in the region and its implications for regional and international stability, maritime security, and the global economy.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Prime Minister Mitsotakis reiterated Greece's condemnation of the continued Iranian attacks targeting the UAE and other countries in the region, emphasizing that these attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure violate sovereignty, international law, and the UN Charter.

The conversation also covered bilateral cooperation and explored ways to strengthen ties within the framework of the two countries' Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, aiming to support mutual development.
