UAE Foreign Minister Engages in Talks with Global Counterparts on Regional Tensions

Abu dhabi: His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, held telephone calls with several foreign ministers to discuss regional developments following the Iranian missile attacks that targeted the UAE and several countries.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Deputy Prime Minister held talks with Helen McEntee, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade and Defence of the Republic of Ireland; Paulo Rangel, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Portuguese Republic; and Arnoldo Andr© Tinoco, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship of the Republic of Costa Rica.

The calls also reviewed the latest regional developments following the announcement by United States President Donald Trump of a two-week ceasefire between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
