UAE Foreign Affairs Minister Congratulates Bahrain on UN Security Council Election

ABU DHABI: His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, congratulated the Kingdom of Bahrain, its leadership, government, and people, on the Kingdom's election as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council for the term 2026 - 2027.

According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed noted that this historic diplomatic achievement reflects the Kingdom of Bahrain's efforts and leadership in promoting peace and security at both the regional and international levels.

HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed expressed the UAE's confidence that the Kingdom of Bahrain, as the Arab representative on the Council, will play a prominent role in fostering regional and global stability, reflecting its esteemed position and distinguished diplomacy on the international stage.
