UAE First Asian Country to Host FIFA Club World Cup 2025 Trophy Tour

Abu Dhabi: The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 Trophy Tour is set to make a stop in the UAE, marking the country's role as the first Asian nation to host this prestigious event. FIFA has confirmed that the tour will visit the UAE from February 22nd to 24th.

According to Bahrain News Agency, a series of events celebrating the tournament will be organized at notable landmarks in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. Al Ain Club will have the distinction of being the first club in Asia to host the cup tour, as reported by WAM.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino unveiled the new FIFA Club World Cup trophy, describing it as the "start of a new history" during an event in New York. The trophy tour aims to provide fans around the world the chance to view the significant prize in club football, as stated on the FIFA website today.

The new trophy, a collaboration between FIFA and global luxury jeweller Tiffany and Co., will visit the cities of all 32 participating clubs. This initiative is part of the lead-up to a competition that promises to be the most inclusive and merit-based in history.

The FIFA Club World Cup will take place across 11 host cities in the US, featuring 12 stadiums. The tournament is scheduled to start on June 14 in Miami and will conclude on July 13 at MetLife Stadium in New York/New Jersey, where the champion will receive the distinguished trophy.
