UAE and Serbia Leaders Discuss Regional Security and Bilateral Cooperation

Abu dhabi: His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, and His Excellency Aleksandar Vucic, President of the Republic of Serbia, engaged in discussions concerning regional developments amid ongoing military escalations and their implications for regional and international security and stability.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the leaders addressed the continued Iranian attacks targeting the UAE and other countries in the region. These attacks, which affect civilians, infrastructure, and vital facilities, were highlighted as violations of state sovereignty and international law.

President Vucic condemned the attacks and expressed Serbia's solidarity with the UAE. He reaffirmed Serbia's support for the measures the UAE is taking to secure its security, stability, and territorial integrity, as well as ensuring the safety of its citizens.

The leaders emphasized the necessity of halting military actions and highlighted the importance of dialogue and diplomacy to resolve regional issues, aiming to preserve security and stability while avoiding further tensions and crises.

The meeting also explored cooperation between the UAE and Serbia. Both sides expressed their commitment to strengthening ties in alignment with their development priorities and mutual interests under the UAE-Serbia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement.
