Abu dhabi: His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, held a phone call with Dr. Abdul Latif Rashid, President of the Republic of Iraq.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the two leaders discussed the latest developments in the Middle East as well as regional issues. The call addressed the importance of promoting dialogue and prioritizing diplomatic solutions in addressing regional challenges, in a way that supports peace, security, and stability, and meets the aspirations of the region's peoples for development and prosperity.
They also discussed the relations between the two countries and means to further develop them across various domains to serve their mutual interests.
