Accra:Abu Dhabi His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), congratulated Arrmanatha Christiawan Nasir on his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia during a recent telephone call.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the conversation between the two foreign ministers covered discussions on enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation across various sectors. They particularly focused on economic, trade, and investment cooperation within the framework of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership between the UAE and Indonesia.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed expressed his best wishes for success to the Indonesian Foreign Minister in his new role and reiterated his commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation to support the development plans and prosperity of both nations. Furthermore, the ministers exchanged views on the latest regional developments.
