UAE and Egypt Explore Enhanced Bilateral Ties During Cairo Meeting

Cairo: His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, convened in Cairo with Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, to deliberate on bilateral relations and explore ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two nations.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the discussions between the two leaders focused on boosting cooperation in developmental, economic, and investment sectors to support mutual interests and realize the aspirations of both countries for progress and prosperity.

Both leaders reiterated their commitment to strengthening close relations across multiple fields. In a gesture of hospitality, President El Sisi hosted an Iftar banquet in honor of His Highness and his accompanying delegation.

The visit concluded with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed departing Egypt, where he was seen off at Cairo International Airport by President El Sisi.
