UAE Air Defences Successfully Engage Missile and UAVs from Iran

Abu dhabi: The Ministry of Defence of the United Arab Emirates announced that UAE air defence systems successfully engaged one ballistic missile and 11 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) launched from Iran. Since the onset of these Iranian attacks, UAE air defences have engaged a total of 520 ballistic missiles, 26 cruise missiles, and 2,221 UAVs.

According to Bahrain News Agency, no fatalities or injuries have been reported in the recent hours following the attacks. However, the total number of martyrs since the attacks began has reached two, including a Moroccan civilian contracted with the Armed Forces. The cumulative civilian fatalities are 10, involving individuals from Pakistani, Nepalese, Bangladeshi, Palestinian, Indian, and Egyptian nationalities.

The total number of injuries has reached 221, affecting individuals of various nationalities, such as Emirati, Egyptian, Sudanese, Ethiopian, Filipino, Pakistani, Iranian, Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Azerbaijani, Yemeni, Ugandan, Eritrean, Lebanese, Afghan, Bahraini, Comorian, Turkish, Iraqi, Nepalese, Nigerian, Omani, Jordanian, Palestinian, Ghanaian, Indonesian, Swedish, Tunisian, Moroccan, and Russian.
