Energy Police forces arrested two persons accused of recycling and smuggling petroleum products and seized their vehicles in Baghdad and Diyala governorates.
A statement by the Directorate stated: The detachments of the Fourth Energy Police Brigade were able to arrest two defendants and seize their vehicles intended for recycling and smuggling petroleum products in the Baghdad and Diyala governorates, with several violations.
The statement added: The two defendants were detained and the two vehicles were seized in preparation for completing the investigative procedures and presenting them to the competent judiciary.
