Turkiye DM asserts countering any attempt disrupting system


In a nod to recent riots rocking Turkish cities, the national Defense Minister Yasar Guler on Tuesday asserted that any attempt to disrupt the system will be countered by state bodies. The Ministry, via statement, mentioned that this took place during meeting with leaders of armed forces.

Guler added that they are closely monitoring the developments and mounting tensions relating to Syrian refugees.

On a related note, the local news agency reported on behalf of unidentified security sources that concerned authorities have been mobilized as soon as the provocative actions began prompted by allegations of a Syrian man harassing a child in central Kayseri province.

Rioting took place across several Turkish cities targeting Syrian and their properties, in response to this aggression, counter riots broke out in northern Syria.

The agency indicated that Turkish authorities have taken the necessary measures to address the situation.

Earlier today, the Interior Ministry announced detaining 474 person on account
of the riots, 285 of which are former convicts
