Manama: Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, held a meeting with Varun Chandra, Chief Adviser to the Prime Minister for Business and Investment of the United Kingdom, and Tim Reid, Chief Executive of UK Export Finance, to explore opportunities for enhancing bilateral cooperation in the fields of transport, telecommunications, and logistics.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the discussions focused on identifying avenues for collaboration across several key sectors that would support the implementation of development and strategic projects. The meeting emphasized the importance of infrastructure development and service enhancement in bolstering economic growth and solidifying the Kingdom of Bahrain's status as a regional hub for quality investment.
Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed reaffirmed Bahrain's commitment to deepening ties with the UK, particularly in the areas of transport, telecommunications, and logistics.
