Vatican City: Transportation and Justice Ministers from Bahrain participated in the funeral of the late Pope Francis, representing His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Hamad Global Center for Coexistence and Tolerance, along with Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, the Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, and Essam bin Abdulaziz Al Jassim, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to France and non-resident Ambassador to the Vatican, conveyed the condolences of Bahrain's leadership and people to Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Secretary of State of the Vatican.
The Bahraini ministers praised the late Pope for his humanitarian work and commitment to fostering tolerance, coexistence, and interfaith dialogue. They extended their sympathies to the Pope's family and loved ones, recognizing the global respect and appreciation he garnered for his efforts.
