Transportation and Works Ministries Discuss Cooperation with Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry.


Manama: Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, and Ibrahim bin Hassan Al Hawaj, Minister of Works, held a joint meeting with Samir Abdullah Nass, Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI). Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed highlighted the ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation with the private sector, particularly focusing on infrastructure projects and the enhancement of logistical services. He underscored the importance of these initiatives in achieving Bahrain’s comprehensive development process, which is led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah praised the Bahrain Chamber’s role as a key development partner and stressed the necessity of fostering investment partnerships to enhance the national economy’s competitiveness and diversity. These efforts align with Bahr
ain’s Economic Vision 2030 and its sustainable development goals. Minister Al Hawaj also highlighted ongoing collaborations with the private sector aimed at implementing strategic projects, developing sustainable infrastructure, and improving public facilities and services. He noted that these initiatives attract investments and support Bahrain’s urban and developmental objectives, building upon the achievements of the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty the King and supported by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Minister Al Hawaj emphasized the Bahrain Chamber’s crucial role as a private sector partner in advancing development plans and projects that benefit the nation and its citizens. The chairman of the BCCI expressed appreciation for the Government of Bahrain’s commitment to providing innovative solutions to enhance entrepreneurship, innovation, and economic competitiveness. He acknowledged the support for the private sector as a strategic partner in advancing econ
omic development.
