Manama: Fatima bint Jaafar Al Sairafi, Minister of Tourism, met with Khaled Abdulrahman Al Majed, Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Real Estate Investment Company (Edamah), the real estate arm of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company, the Kingdom's sovereign wealth fund. The meeting focused on discussing cooperation and the significant role of the private sector in achieving the objectives of the Tourism Strategy (2022 - 2026).
According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister commended Edamah's efforts in developing and managing tourism projects. These efforts align with advanced strategies that contribute to key objectives, especially in waterfront and maritime tourism, which are central to the strategy. She also highlighted the importance of diversifying tourism offerings and enhancing Bahrain's position as a leading tourism destination.
Khaled Abdulrahman Al Majed, on his part, expressed Edamah's dedication to intensifying efforts to implement projects that enhance tourism infrastructure. These projects aim to meet visitor expectations and support the national economy.
