Thrilling Conclusion to ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors Week in Manama


Manama: The first week of the ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors – J30 Manama, organized by the Bahrain Tennis Federation over three consecutive weeks, concluded with the finals for both boys’ and girls’ singles and doubles categories.



According to Bahrain News Agency, the boys’ singles title was clinched by Spain’s Sergi Ramis Coll, who delivered a strong performance against Japan’s Daisuke Hashimoto, winning 6-2, 6-3. In the girls’ singles final, Russia’s Sofia Lomakina emerged victorious, defeating her compatriot Vera Iamina in straight sets, 6-2, 6-0.



The boys’ doubles saw Saudi Arabia’s Issah Ali team up with Russia’s Joromsky to claim the title, overcoming Turkey’s Cinar Senkaya and Yagiz Yildiz with a scoreline of 6-3, 6-4. In the girls’ doubles competition, Egypt’s Sara Dessouky paired with Russia’s Lomakina to secure victory against Japan’s Shozui Riko and Australia’s Elise Virr, with a final score of 7-5, 6-7 (1), 10-6.
