The Turkish Defense Ministry said in a statement this afternoon, Thursday, that the Turkish army targeted hideouts and sites of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in northern Iraq, in retaliation for the killing of four Turkish soldiers, including an officer, last night.
The Turkish army’s targeting of the sites and hideouts of the PKK in northern Iraq comes hours after an officer and three Turkish soldiers were killed and two others wounded in an attack by Kurdish militants, as the Turkish army used drones to hit those targets./ End
