The Syrian Prime Minister, Engineer Hussein Arnous, received the Chairman of the National Investment Authority, Dr. Haider Muhammad Makiya.
Arnous stressed that success in developing the investment projects sector in a joint format between Baghdad and Damascus is an essential measure for the development and progress of economic integration indicators.
For his part, the head of the National Investment Authority pointed out the necessity of activating coordination programs between the National Authority and the Investment Authority in Syria, as well as developing communication mechanisms, exchanging expertise and information, and strengthening the process of commercial partnerships.
Makiya also briefed the Prime Minister on plans to enhance investment activities, and vital projects in Iraq, such as the development road and the optical cable project, and their positive repercussions internationally.
