The Secretary-General of the Arab Maghreb Union visits the Libyan Embassy in Rabat and offers condolences to the flood victims.

The Secretary-General of the Arab Maghreb Union, Tayeb Al-Bakoush, visited the Libyan Embassy in Rabat, accompanied by a high-level delegation, during which he offered condolences and sympathy to the Libyan Embassy in Rabat for the victims of the floods that struck the city of Derna and its environs.

“Al-Bakoush” and his accompanying delegation were received by the Chargé d’Affairs and members of the Libyan Embassy in Rabat, “Abu Bakr Al-Tawil,” according to what the Libyan Embassy in Rabat published on its official Facebook page.

Al-Bakoush said, “In a blog post he wrote in the embassy’s register, the General Secretariat of the Arab Maghreb Union shares the sorrows and pain of the Libyan people, expressing its deep condolences and sincere sympathy in this tragedy. Asking God to cover the martyrs in this tragedy with His vast mercy and forgiveness, and to dwell them in His spacious gardens, and to inspire their families and loved ones with patience and solace.” He expedites the recovery of the wounded and the injured, and the safe return of the missing to their families.
