The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, exchanged congratulations with the President of the Syrian Arab Republic, Bashar al-Assad, on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
A presidential statement stated today, Sunday,, “During the call, the President of the Republic expressed his best congratulations and wishes for President al-Assad’s good health and wellness, and for the brotherly Syrian people further progress and prosperity.”
In turn, President Al-Assad extended congratulations to the President of the Republic on the Happy Eid, praying to God Almighty to grant the Iraqi people prosperity, security and stability.
According to the statement, the strengthening of bilateral relations and joint cooperation was discussed, in addition to the latest updates and developments on the regional and international arenas.
