The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, exchanged congratulations today, Sunday, the with the Acting President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Muhammad Mokhber, on Eid Al-Adha.
A presidential statement stated that the two sides expressed, during a telephone call, their wishes for security, stability and prosperity to prevail for both the Iraqi and Iranian peoples.
The statement added, “The relations between the two countries were emphasized, and the importance of working to develop and strengthen them in areas of mutual interest in a way that achieves common interests and strengthens bilateral cooperation and coordination to establish security, stability and peace in the region.
